Unit Details:

  • 43-Bed Unit: The Surgical Renal Unit cares for medical, surgical, vascular, nephrology, and urology patients, including those in the Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program.
  • Safe Patient Ratios: Enjoy a consistent nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5, ensuring quality care and a manageable workload.
  • Supportive Environment: The team prioritizes a safe work environment, with leadership committed to maintaining optimal patient ratios.

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Graduation from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and meet multi-state licensure requirements.

Work Schedule:

  • Varied shifts available: 7a-7:30p, 7p-7:30a. Weekend and/or night contracts are available.
  • Shift Differentials: $3 for hours worked between 7p and 7a, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights.

Pay:

  • The hourly range for this position is $32.00 - $46.50, depending on experience.
