Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Averas patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

• Actively uses the nursing process in goal-focused patient care, demonstrating accountability as an individual and team member.
• Provides timely, continuous age appropriate, collaborative assessment and preparation of patient and family for next level of care.
• Provides and documents nursing care to pre/post-operative patients of all ages.
• Perform a variety of technical skills such as insertion and maintenance of IVs, telemetry, blood product administration, infusion pumps, etc.
• Direct, plan and coordinate work flow.
• Coordinate care with patients, family, physicians and other nursing staff.

Licensure/Certification/Registration & Experience

• Licensed Registered Nurse in South Dakota required.
• Basic Life Support certification is mandatory within six months of employment.
• Previous experience in medical, surgical or pediatric nursing helpful.

Work Schedule

• Varied, 12-hour, early morning shifts; PRN (as needed)

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $29.50 - 44.25 per hour
