Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital, established in 2003, began as a cardiovascular surgery hospital and expanded in 2006 to include bariatric and general surgery. Now a 57-bed hospital in north Fresno, it is recognized globally for its leadership in bariatric and metabolic surgery.

Responsibilities

As a Break Nurse, you will work 8-hour shifts, providing essential coverage across multiple units during break and meal periods. This position allows you to focus on the continuum of care for numerous patients while being part of a team that values professional and personal growth.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an approved nursing program.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

• RN: Current State of California Registered Nurse license.
• BLS: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Additional Certifications: ACLS, PALS, or other certifications may be required based on the assigned unit(s).
