Location: All positions are based in Fresno/Clovis, CA.

We are seeking RNs to join our Cardiovascular ICU team! In this fast-paced environment, you'll collaborate with a close-knit team while caring for a wide range of patients with varying acuity levels. Responsibilities:

In this nine-bed unit, you will have an RN-to-patient ratio of 1:2, with 1:1 care often provided based on patient acuity. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, advanced practice professionals, clinical nurse specialists, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, case managers, and pharmacists. Your role is essential in integrating this multidisciplinary approach into your patient's care plan.

  • Collect and analyze comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation to determine the diagnosis.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes in a safe environment. Provide appropriate health education to patients and others.
  • Evaluate progress toward the attainment of outcomes, systematically enhancing the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and patient safety.
  • Attain knowledge and competencies that reflect current nursing practice, evaluating your nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines.
  • Interact with and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues, providing leadership in the professional practice setting. Integrate research findings into practice.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Graduate of an approved nursing program required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in novice to advanced beginner clinical nursing practice.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Current State of California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 3 months of hire or transfer into the job.
