Your Role
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Analyze laboratory results and medical history
- Educate patients and families
- Insert IV lines
- Administer drugs, including procedural sedation
- Monitor patients' patterns and vital signs during procedures
- Oversee the safety and comfort of patients
- Perform all other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
Licenses and Certifications:
- RN: Current State of California Registered Nurse license
- BLS: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferences:
- Experience in procedural sedation, angiography, and special procedures.
- Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) or Cardiovascular Nurse (CVN) preferred.
- Advanced clinical nursing practice in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, ICU, or ER experience preferred.
- Skilled in performing circulator duties during invasive procedures. Sedation and scrub experience highly desired.
- On-call duties required during the week and some weekends.
